the ingredients
the wet
1 cup apple sauce
1 flax egg (1 tbs flax meal + 3 tbs water)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup + 1 tbs runny nut butter (I used almond butter)
1 tbs maple syrup
the dry
1/3 cup cocoa powder
3 tbs cookies 'n creme protein powder (Gainful discount code HERE!)
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbs monk fruit sweetener
the process
- preheat oven to 325. spray an 8x8 baking tin with avocado oil.
- make the flax egg by combining 1 tbs flax meal + 3 tbs water. set in fridge for 4-5 minutes to 'gel'.
- mix all ingredients in a medium bowl. spread mixture evenly in the 8x8 baking tray.
- bake for 23-25 minutes.
