the ingredients
the wet
3 extra ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 1/2 cups mashed banana)
1/4 cup honey
1/3 cup tahini
1 chia egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
the dry
1 1/2 cups oat flour
1/2 cup flaxseed meal
2 tablespoons walnuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
the process
- preheat oven to 350, and line a 8x4 bread loaf pan with parchment paper.
- mash the bananas in a large bowl. add the remaining 'wet' ingredients into the large bowl with bananas (except the blueberries + chocolate chips).
- in a separate bowl, mix 'the dry' ingredients. pour this dry mixture in with the wet mixture. stir well! (note: should be a pretty dense consistency 👌🏽)
- pour batter into the 8x4 greased OR lined loaf pan. drop a few banana slices on top for aesthetics - and sprinkle a handful of dark chocolate chips on there too!!!!
- bake 50 minutes. devour.
