dough:
same ingredients as my pizza crust recipe!
1/4 cup oat flour (aka oats, blended up)
2 tbs Greek yogurt
1 tsp baking powder
inside/filling:
2-3 tbsp applesauce
1 tsp monk fruit sweetener (i like @lakanto)
1 tsp+/- cinnamon
icing:
1-2 tbsp cream cheese OR protein powder (i love the @allamericannutritionco cheesecake )
coconut milk for consistency
how to make it:
1. mix dough together. roll out on flour-covered counter.
2. mix filling together. spread filling evenly across rolled out dough. cut dough in half.
3. roll one half up like a sushi roll or burrito. place this rolled up half on top of the non-rolled half, then very lightly roll them up together.
4. spray a small ramekin w avo / olive oil. place rolled dough in ramekin.
5. bake at 450 for 15-18 mins (depending how you like your cinnamon rolls!!!! doughy or crisp)
6. blend icing ingredients whilst dough bakes. remove roll from oven, and drizzle icing a top w some extra cinnamon. i also added pumpkin seeds to mine! for some added zinc ◡̈
