ingredients
3/4 cup organic, pasture raised ground turkey
Seasonings for turkey: Celtic Salt + Garlic / Pepper mixture
1/2-1 cup blanched broccoli (RECIPE HERE) - can of course do roasted broccoli if preferred.
1/3 cup Brussel Sprouts - For a quick option, look for Ocean Breeze (Sprouts, Whole Foods, Vons)
1/2 cup Seeds of Change rice (Sprouts, Whole Foods, Amazon)
2 roasted Love Beets cooked beets - I love the vinegar marinated ones (Sprouts, Whole Foods, Vons)
toppings:
1 tablespoon Haven's Kitchen Golden Turmeric Tahini (Sprouts, Whole Foods, Amazon)
dash of Tamari / Soy Sauce
recipe
Brown the ground turkey in a large sauce pan. Once the meet is mostly brown (can have a little pink left), add those seasonings on!
Next, toss in the blanched broccoli and brussel sprouts.
While those are all warming up together in the saucepan, follow the instructions for the Seeds of Change rice (usually tear a corner and microwave for 90 seconds). If you are using a different starchy carb (i.e.: butternut squash, lentils, or making brown rice in a rice cooking...feel free to run with that option now!).
Stir the ground turkey, broccoli, and brussels combination. Place lid back on pan.
Prepare your bowl by tossing in the cabbage / green mix and diced up roasted beets in a bowl. Using your beautiful greens / beet combination as a foundation, go ahead and toss the broccoli, brussels, and rice on top.
Top is desired about of Turmeric Tahini dressing and / or Tamari / Soy Sauce. NOTE: you can of course use whichever dressings you like! Even my homemade peanut sauce would be 🔥.
